Hill Library stands as a beacon of knowledge and tradition, gracefully blending the historical with the contemporary. Its vast collection spans genres and disciplines, ensuring that every reader finds their niche. The reading rooms and study spaces are thoughtfully designed, creating an environment conducive to deep focus and intellectual exploration. The staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and ever-willing to assist, making the process of finding resources a breeze. In addition to its physical collection, the digital resources and databases available are invaluable for research. While Hunt Library boasts modern architecture, Hill Library offers the charm of tradition and the depth of decades. A visit here is a journey through time and knowledge. Highly recommended!

I'm a state student and i just wanted to shout out the staff at the ask us desk in Hill. They are very quick to order books - i needed to do a request to borrow a book they didn't have in Hill, and they ordered the book from Auburn and it came so fast and they emailed me quickly to let me come pick it up. Just happy to have a library that is so helpful to students. #lovemylibrary

Love Hill. Always have had my best study sessions here and also the library rooms are great. Would highly advise booked them. Very easy to navigate and any kind of technology you could ever want is there as well. NC State has done a great job.

Incredible selection of articles and plenty of spaces to study. It has something for everyone from books, to VR, to camera rentals, to a music creation studio.

This library has a decently sized collection of books (although not as many books as other libraries of large Universities) and excellent facilities. This library has been very useful and I have gotten books and articles from here (both digitally and physically). I enjoy the nice furniture, browsing through the bookstacks and the white boards. I also enjoy renting out technology and looking at the aerial view from the top floors. I have spent a lot of time studying here as the rooms are typically very quite (except when the library is more crowded).

This is such a great library. As a freshman at NC State, I always found the staff at the library to be extremely helpful and friendly. I was surprised to find out that I can check out more than books and media, but all kinds f technology! They also have fun workshops for free. Also anyone can claim a study room up to a week in advance. I do recommend checking out the renovated section of the library (entrance from the brickyard to the 4th floor), currently int his pandemic you can only enter if you have a student ID (this will change when the pandemic passes over). I started working at the Library in 2019 and it is the best job I have ever had. The managers are very understanding when it comes to assignments and they have always been very supportive for me. After the pandemic, they were still able to offer student a job for scanning textbooks and I am so grateful for that!

Excellent work stations and huge collection of books can be found here. They even have a small pastry shop inside. Amazing view on the top floor
